Kylian Mbappe became France’s top scorer in men’s international football after finding the net twice against Senegal in their 2026 FIFA World Cup match in New York on Tuesday.
Michael Olise set up Mbappé in the penalty area and the Real Madrid striker made no mistake as he pushed the ball past Edouard Mendy in the 66th minute. It was his 57th goal for The Blueswhich puts him on par with Olivier Giroud.
However, he secured his lead in stoppage time by firing a thunderous long-range rocket past Senegal keeper Edouard Mendy.
