Puddle Steppin’ (Day 50) – The Walk

We started the day again with some homemade waffles and took a shuttle to the trailhead.

I’m proud of my dad for sticking with it, but especially because he’s being smart about it. His knee is bothering him. But he’s cooling down and raising his knee with every shift he gets. It’s also great to see that he gets along so well with everyone.

the rain

We started hearing a lot of thunder in the distance and it started to rain intermittently. Just enough to put on your raincoat and take it off again and put it on again. After this little dance, it started to pour down rain.

After a while, the weather cleared. We saw Ferdinand drying himself like a lizard along the stream. That’s a great idea.

The rest of the day was wet, but that didn’t matter! Because Tinker was making magic on the trails! He is a section hiker that Doohickey and Dreamcatcher hiked with for a while. Great end to the day!
