England had their work cut out for their 2-0 win over Panama but ensured they finished the 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage at the top of the Group L standings on Saturday.
The Three Lions finished with seven points, after wins over Panama and Croatia, and a draw against Ghana.
As winners of Group L, England will face one of the third-placed eights who will progress to the Round of 32.
As things stand, they will face Senegal in the next round, a match to be played at the Atlanta Stadium on July 1. However, if DR Congo advances from Group K, the country will face England in the Round of 32.
