The 2026 FIFA World Cup Round of 32 knockout match started as soon as referee Jalal Zayed blew his whistle at Austin Stadium. Four-time world champion Germany will face Latin American superpower Paraguay.
Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer made his 23rd World Cup appearance today, setting a unique record for Germany’s most appearances in football history.
Deniz Undav, who scored three goals in place of Jamal Musiala, was a big surprise in the starting line-up, along with Kai Havertz and Florian Wirtz in attack. On the other hand, the Paraguayan defense tries to build a strong resistance against the German attack from the start.
