Harry Kane equalized in the 74th minute for England against DR Congo in their Round of 32 match at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Atlanta on Wednesday.
England had to work for the equalizer after the African team took the lead in the seventh minute thanks to Brian Cipenga.
The winner of this match will face co-host country Mexico in the round of 16.
What happens if England vs DR Congo ends in a draw after 90 minutes?
If the match between England and DR Congo remains level after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, 30 minutes of extra time will be added, divided into two halves.
If the winner is not determined even after that, a penalty shootout will decide which team will advance to the pre-quarter-finals
