Brazilian official Raphael Claus is the referee for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Round of 32 match between the USA and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Claus has been an official FIFA referee since 2015 and previously appeared at the 2022 World Cup, where he officiated two group stage matches.
He has also refereed in several international competitions, such as the Copa América and the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup, most notably officiating the high-profile Copa America final between Argentina and Colombia in 2025.
This will mark Claus’ second match at the 2026 World Cup, having previously taken charge of the Group H match between Spain and Saudi Arabia.
