England came from behind to record a 2-1 win over DR Congo in the Round of 32 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Atlanta on Wednesday.
Harry Kane was the star of the day for the Three Lions as he scored both goals in the second half after DR Congo took the lead in the seventh minute through Brian Cipenga.
Thomas Tuchel’s side next face Mexico in the round of 16 in Mexico City on July 5. Mexico defeated Ecuador 2-0 in its last 32 matches on Tuesday.
