Portugal have qualified for the round of 16 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup after a dramatic 2-1 win against Croatia in Toronto.
Goncalo Ramos scored an injury-time winner to complete a Portuguese turnaround after Ivan Perisic had given Croatia the lead. Cristiano Ronaldo had also scored a penalty to level the score.
Portugal will now take on Spain, who defeated Austria 3-0 in the immediately preceding Round of 32 match, on July 6 in Arlington, Texas.
