Morocco became the first team to secure a place in the quarter-finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup after beating Canada 3-0 in the round of 16 at Houston Stadium on Saturday.
Azzedine Ounahi bagged a brace and Soufiane Rahimi struck late to put the Atlas Lions ahead, and they will be keen to at least repeat their semi-final run from the previous edition in Qatar.
It was defeated by eventual champions France in the semi-finals and by Croatia in the third-place play-off match.
Who will Morocco face in the quarter-finals?
According to the draw, Morocco will face the winner of the Round of 16 between France and Paraguay, which will take place in Philadelphia later in the day.
If the country progresses, Morocco could face Spain, Portugal, the US or Belgium in the semi-finals.
