Justin Bieber will join global stars Shakira, Madonna and BTS as co-headliners for the FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show to be held at the New York New Jersey Stadium on July 19, football’s governing body announced on Wednesday.
Coldplay’s Chris Martin is curating the show, which will also feature Burna Boy, Gustavo Dudamel and PS 22 Chorus. The show is a first for a football World Cup final.
Amid concerns about how long the half-time will last, FIFA has announced that the action will last eleven minutes.

The performance supports the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, an initiative that aims to raise $100 million to expand access to quality education and football opportunities for children worldwide.
“The FIFA World Cup brings the world together in a way that nothing else can. I’m grateful to be a part of this Halftime Show, and even more grateful knowing it is already helping to increase access to education for children around the world,” said Justin Bieber.
Meanwhile, characters from Sesame Street and The Muppets will also be part of the show.
