Saudi Aarabia and Qatar went home advantage in the fourth Tour of Asia, which was eligible for the World Cup 2026 on Thursday.
In October, Qatar will organize group A that also contains the United Arab Emirates and Oman.
Saudi -Arabia welcomes Iraq and Indonesia in group B.
The winner of each Round-Robin group will take the last two remaining automatic places of Asia during next summer’s tournament, organized by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The teams that finish second will meet each other, where the winner will switch to Inter-Confederation Play-Offs, which are planned for March 2026.
Six teams from Asia last month were insured: Japan, Iran, South Korea and Australia have all participated several times, while Jordan and Ozbekistan will make their first performance.
