Arsenal has signed winger Noni Madueke from Chelsea in a deal worth a reported £ 48 million ($ 65 million) on Friday.
«We are pleased to announce that England International Noni Madueke has joined us to a long -term contract,» Arsenal said in an official announcement.
The 23-year-old attacker appeared 92 performances in all competitions for Chelsea, scored 20 goals and offered nine assists. He played in five of Chelsea’s Seven Club World Cup matches in the US, but did not play in the 3-0 last win over Champions League winner Paris St Germain on Sunday.
He started his youth career in Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur before moving to the Netherlands and came to PSV Eindhoven in 2018.
Madueke will wear the number 20 shirt.
