Holiday Inn Express White River Junction to the Hanover Center Trail site

I mentioned in yesterday’s publication how I had heard about New Hampshire Trail’s tenacity since before the ECT. More specifically, I heard about the white mountains … their inclination, robustness, often fierce weather exposure (particularly the wind) and its beauty as well. Well, «the whites», since they often shorten, now not far. I still have a few days before entering, but here at the hotel, I spent a good amount of time investigating and schemes for that section.

From what I am gathering, it is a different backpack in the whites not only for the land and all the things that I mentioned above, but because there is a different set of rules to follow to camp too. I still don’t have everything nailed, but it seems that the Appalachian Mountain Club is loaded as the administrators of the National Forest here. Since it is such a popular place for people to visit it, they have established a system of cabins, as well as designated camp areas. There are also some rates involved, but I think I will explain everything again in the first. It seems that I can buy some kind of pass through Hiker.

So yes, I’ve been thinking about that and even later, but to recover everything, this is what happened today …

I asked and gave me a late check, so I had until noon before I had to slip. What a joy to sleep (more than normal anyway) and relax in the room. I had some coffee, I went down to breakfast lobby, took another shower and suddenly packed. It was a great stay and a necessary break and recharge!

The bus appeared while I walked to the stop. I even had to make a small speed walk that bordered a trot to catch it. However, in a short time, I was back at university. I went directly to the post office and made a quick excursion inside. Then he returned to the road to the food cooperative. Today it was very hot and I think even a warm notice was established. Good time for me to do consecutive neros. In addition, the reason for my time to take my time.

After calling my mother to get up to date, I entered the store and got some chicken tenders, fries and an Arnold Palmer.

Shortly after 2:00 pm, I finally had to pass. It was not too much from the city walk, and after flanking a soft ball field, I entered the forest again. Things began immediately. The idea that I just needed to go a few miles took me forward. If I had planned to try more than 10 years or less, I am not sure I had the motivation.

The place that had originally thought of the campaign seemed to be in a forest protection area, so I went a little further until I found a small hill that was out of it, but even in the corridor and the national forest. It was nice to be early and have a lot of time to configure and hang. However, I should have filled me too much in lunch because I had no appetite even for the pizza and the cheese bread that had packed.

Waiting for my body to feel ready to continue moving tomorrow after a couple of lower mileage!
