Finally it was the day for my hiking partner Debbie and I leave the hot desert behind and travel to the Mount Rainier National Park to walk along the path of the Wonderland. The final destination would be the White River Front Country camp. We would begin to walk the next day (24/14/25) from the path of dawn that comes in an anti -Horary sense.
All smiles after landing at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport
Resources near airport
We fly on July 13 from Palm Springs International Airport and arrived at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport only three hours later. The flight was easy since Debbie and I had a lot to do. Once we arrive, we take a transport service to collect our rental car during the week. Conveniently, there was a Rei and a right goal next to the other about 2.5 miles from the airport. Here we collected bottles of water, fuel and any last minute snack.
We find a murderous breakfast on the other side of Rei Street called Patty’s Eggnest, which I can’t recommend enough. He had a breakfast burrito with two sides of sour cream. I have not eaten cheese or sour cream in years, since as a vegan when I am out of the path and I have not done a walk in about three years since the school ended. I understand why people eat these things regularly. It should have been a crime how delicious it was burrito.

Get to the park and pick up our gold, a brilliant permit
The impulse of the White River Wilderness Information Center in the Mount Rainier National Park was an easy and picturesque 2 -hour cruise per small picturesque cities. We had an explosion of Spotify and the low windows, of course!
Once we arrive at the Rosebosque station, we collected our permission and try to change our itinerary so that our last day was not so massive, but unfortunately without availability. Our itinerary consisted of really big days and then on really easy days, so we were trying to match a little. The weather forecast for the week was ridiculously surprising with clear skies and warm temperatures. It was reported that the Nevada Panhandle gap (higher point on the path) had 80% snow. For our first day on the path, we would be walking on the Sky Park alternative to the Eagle Roost camp and it was reported that the snow was 40%. It was reported that the water abounded along the entire path. There were also some paths of paths that informed us.

Where the hell do we sleep?
I totally forgot to make a reservation for the camp for the White River Front Country camp, but fortunately it was a Sunday when most people are not in the forest, so we could drive, choose a sweet site and pay through a mailbox and an envelope. The trip to the camp from the desert information center was about ten minutes. Then came the team explosion throughout the picnic table while we classified our things and organize the camp. The camp had lockers for our food, which was convenient. In addition, Sunrise Trailhead was on an easy 20 -minute trip from the camp, so starting early would not be a problem.

THE DOOZY OF THE DAY
While we dug our equipment and clothing batteries at the picnic table in the camp, Debbie realized that he forgot his phone loading the cable! What what? I tried to be the biggest person and I only touched him very well as soft jazz, but I knew that having only one phone was not good news. As we had time, we decided to go at the beginning of the path for Sunrise to visit the general store to see if they sold any. The Sunrise Trailhead had a great gift shop, incredible alpine meadows, without load cables and a very disappointing snack bar. I’m very sorry, but who wants soup after a hiking day of more than 20 miles? Whatvs. Anyway, we decided to call it and on the way back to the camp made a stop at the point of view of dawn. The views were crazy and this really promoted us.
While sitting at Picnic’s table with Debbie after returning, I had a moment as in the first Harry Potter movie when Harry is going to look for a wand and Garrick Ollivander, the Wandmaker says: «… I wonder …»
I took the load cable to my lighthouse and Boom BabyIt worked for your phone. We definitely had a small moment of victory there! Now we had two phones and we were ready to arrive tomorrow.
