Chief advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus’s special adviser, Saidur Rahman, reporters said that 27 people had lost their lives in this tragic incident.
In the interview after the match, Aida and Butler paid their respect to the deceased.
«When we got on the field, we knew we were going to play for those who had died,» Aida told reporters.
«First of all, we want to express respect to the deceased. It is really not exciting to celebrate at the moment. My condolences and prayers go to those affected by this tragic incident,» Butler added.
