I woke up with the people who spoke around 5:30 am, but I fell asleep for a while and then got up around 6:15 am
I packed, I didn’t cook in the morning again, just like a bar or a pop cake once I start walking, so it’s fast. This was the first camp in which I stayed with a bathroom, so I used it, honestly, a little luxury. Then I started walking at 7 am!
Emma started a little before me and John a little after me, but I stayed and among them almost all day, and we stopped for lunch together in Dolly Creek to Mile 112.6 around noon. It was a really pleasant stream, that flows fast and the water was cold and felt great.
At this point, my hunger signs seemed to return, which was pleasant, so I ate a good amount for lunch.
All this day we also had a ton of explosions (trees that were placed by the path, sometimes one sometimes a disaster of them) and some shrubs, which slowed us a little. Sometimes we would have to jump and we would have to climb and about 50 feet more or less out of the way.
We continue walking and arrive at Mile 122.4, where we find a camp not marked on the map, but we recommend Emma by a hiker who had made this section. It was decently with the few hundred feet at the foot of the path, with good flat places to launch our tents and an incredible river near to wash and get water.
We sat next to the water for dinner, I had ramen, since the valley slowly turned while the sun went down behind the mountains. The place I had for my store was actually a bit inclined, but he thought he could help with the congestion he was feeling.

When in Stehekin I began to have congestion and cough, which persisted, I did not feel horrible just upset with that. Another advantage for this camp was that there were basically no mistakes! There are no mosquitoes and only a few flies, which definitely was not the case the night before.
Due to the long days so far, there were only 66.1 miles to spend Stevens from here! But the most difficult part was to come …
