Arsenal announced the signing of Valencia defender Crasshian Mosquera on Thursday.
The Spain Under-21 International agrees for a first reimbursement of approximately £ 13 million, with performance-related add-ons, and is supposed to have agreed a five-year deal with an option of another year. This takes the expenditure of the Premier League club during the summer transfer window near £ 140 million ($ 189 million).
The 21-year-old, the fifth signing of Arsenal in recent weeks, has been set to offer coverage to William Saliba and Gabriel in the heart of the defense of the Gunners, but can work anywhere along the back line.
Mosquera, who played 41 times for Valencia last season, became a member of Arsenal for his pre-season tour through Singapore and Hong Kong.
The Gunners, who has finished three times in a row as Premier League two, launch their campaign 2025/26 in Manchester United on August 17.
Arsenal remains hopeful on signing striker Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon.
