I woke up in a beautiful house in Hanover, Judy’s place. Of course, Judy was not at home. Completely normal being a foreigner who wakes up in a complete house of strangers while walking along the path of the Apalaches.
I left the comfort of the King Size bed and I could eat. It was around a quarter of a roast chicken, along with a little Pepperoni, Cheese and tortillas. I ate three. Satiated and ready to shoot in my new state, I ordered Judy’s place to the best skills of a middle -aged man, and I went out to a quiet suburban street from Hanover around 7 am
A quick walk through the streets very calm than it seems to be a very rich city, and I found myself ready to put my feet on the ground of what is widely recognized as the hardest state of the path.
False advertising
Here I am, ready to get my crampons and my ice ax, and I find myself on a beautifully careful path, in abundance, in white abundance in abundance. Have I surely made a wrong turn and I’m not in New Hampshire?
Unfortunately, dear reader, it seems that everyone has lied to us. The path continued to be beautiful and easy while I went up to the western side of the state.

I continued looking for the difficult terrain, and I was covering the early kilometers in the morning with a large clip. However, it is fair to say that not as fast as the others.
Captain Morgan
While I lost in my own mind in the easy beginning of NH, I heard a branch that crosses behind me. Waiting for a bear (however, with the recent visa I change the possibilities of seeing a bear in NH, they barely existed), on the other hand, they presented a gazelle of a human in a rapid motion. He kindly regretted his warp velocity approach and began to chat.
It is true that the reduction of the speed that Kristian had applied still left me at my maximum speed when I began to accelerate to continue our conversation. I discovered that this speed demon was involved in the Ultra run scene, and recently he had been with John Kelly, who tried to break the FKT (faster time known) for the path. We chat about this attempt, and Kristian efforts to do the same in recent years.

One of the people in the top photo will try to break the FKT of the AT from August 1. The other will be happy if your legs still work tomorrow.
Kristian talked for most than an hour, a super pleasant guy, and I wished him the best of the luck, since he finally accelerated. I also glad that he left, since my legs were becoming a jelly as due to the speed we had traveled.
Alce mountain
Well, this was all. I would analyze three states, and it was time to face face to face with an elice. I was sure that people in New Hampshire would not be as rude as those of other states that named a mountain after an animal and then did not have the same animal available to see in that mountain.
I started scanning my surroundings for elce. He was not too worried about missing one, since they are a very large creature and obviously prevail in this hill.

I started having some concerns when I saw this bridge. It seemed a bit rickety and thin for its average hall, but I suppose that the classes could walk through the stream, I have heard that they enjoy water.
Then I went up, at the top of the mountain. Maybe the classes prefer to be high? As I approached the beak, I began to have some doubts. Could it be as dumb as the other states and name a mountain and not have the animal present to greet you?

Too soon I got to the top and realized that I had been deceived once more. I went on the other side of the hill, determined to reach the bottom of this false name convention that seems to be permeating the proud nation of the United States.

See. Of course the day. Moose mountain. Do not moose.
I arrived at the shelter around 12:30 pm. The temperature had collapsed on the walk for the unfortunately named mountain, and I found myself immersing in my package so that all my layers were kept hot.
I made lunch (more tortillas, less roasted chicken) and decided that it would be an excellent time to try my new quilt. I got out of my mattress and pushed my new Neve Gear quota -2 degrees. I appreciate the irony of traveling halfway through the world just to buy a Australian made cabin quantcha that was sent from Texas.
The quantcha was how it is announced, warm and welcoming. I made its way during the afternoon before more hikers arrived at the shelter and the conversation began seriously.

The conversations took their turns and turns when the afternoon disappeared. Apparently, there are some excellent views from here, and if the cloud is erased in the morning, we are all excited to see them.
I decided to install my store and left the inhabitants of the shelter after dinner. I curled up in my new quilt, the forecast was for 5 degrees during the night, so I felt sure to be comfortable, a great advance in my population of population that I had left in Hanover.
