Atalanta -attacker Breathing Lookman has handed the club a formal transfer search, the player said on Sunday.

Lookman made the announcement with a statement on Instagram.

The 27-year-old said that the request was made «after many months of broken promises and what I think was a bad treatment for me as both a person and as a professional football player.

«Unfortunately I have the feeling that I have no choice but to express what I believe is good, and I think enough is enough,» he said.

He said in the statement that it had already been decided that it was «right time» to continue and experience a new adventure. »

He said that he and the club ownership had been ‘in accordance’ that it was now the right time for a transfer, and that the club agreed to let him leave if an honest offer was made.

He said there was an offer, but now the club did not hold on to the end of the agreement.

«Despite the fact that he now receives an offer in coordination on what I think has been discussed, the club unfortunately blocks the chance for reasons I don’t understand,» he said.

Lookman gave no other details about the offer.
