Jorge Costa, FC Porto legend and current sports director of the club, died on Tuesday afternoon at 53 due to a cardiac arrest, the club confirmed.
Known as the ‘Beast’, Costa played 383 games with Porto and lifted the UEFA Cup in 2003, the Champions League in 2004 and 8 league titles with the club.
He also made 50 performances for the Portuguese national team and scored two goals.
