Former Germany and Bayern Munich striker Thomas Mueller has signed a seasonal hose deal with Major League Soccer (MLS) Side Vancouver WhiteCaps, the Canadian club said Wednesday
Mueller, who will be 36 next month, decided to leave Bayern at the end of last season after 25 years with the German champion, which would win the 13 Bundesliga titles and two Champions League trophies.
He registered 250 goals and 238 assists in 756 career competitions in all competitions while won 33 titles. The attacking midfielder and attacker also achieved 45 goals and 131 caps for Germany, emphasized by a FIFA World Cup triumph in 2014.
«I look forward to coming to Vancouver to help this team win a championship,» Mueller said in a statement. «I have heard great things about the city, but in the first place I come to win.»
