Lake Hebron for me Route 15 and Shaw’s Hiker Hostel
Today I had a few hiking miles before reaching the road with access to the city of Monson, Maine. I recently hit my alarm at 5:00 am and felt ready to rock and roll when it started sounding.
Last night, at 1:01 am I heard a strong splash of the lake. At first I thought it was a larger animal that had plunged from the shore. But then it happened again and again, not immediately, but after a while it splashed. While my brain worked through this phenomenon, I decided that I was a beaver hitting its tail on the surface. Do they do that? I’m not sure, but that was my hypothesis and I’m sticking to her.
The walk was fine and Dandy. I knew I had a uphill and had prepared mentally for that. And in a short time I was on the road on the road. He took less than 5 minutes and my main man Mike stopped in his giant truck. It was a short trip to the city, but it seemed that he liked a super pleasant guy. When I apologized for my smell and its disgusting general state, he laughed and said: «I am a plumber.» However, it smelled of a wet dog. Rough.
In the city, they left me right in the general store of Monson.
As usual, the food was in my mind. And coffee …
I left there. In yesterday’s publication, I mentioned how my brain was in a fog all day with the coming logistics. This time sitting with my coffee gave me the opportunity to deepen some of those anxieties and start seeing things on the list.
Finally, I climbed a side street to find the Shaw’s Hiker hostel. He had heard great things about this place and did not disappoint. In fact, it would be one of my favorite stays of the path so far. It is only one of those places where they have everything a hiker wants and attends to their needs.
There were good vibrations immediately and a herd of other hikers, all with a story to tell. I loved it. What a special place that is in the perfect place on the path; Gear to Novo is before assuming the desert of 100 miles from Maine and ending or, for Sobo’s, a good break after starting his trip through those same parts.
In the city, I was able to visit the ATC Visitors Center and obtain information. About Baxter State Park …
Here is Shaw’s from the way. I opted for the store in the patio. I was quite full of hikers, maybe more than 20 years?
I received some letters and treats in the mail delivered here from some of my FAM, Calzone and Cheer paths! Such impulse for me.
And yes, let’s expand a piece of the inventory there …

The spam saga continues. In 2019 there was a night on the path that we all got some. I like very well when added to my dinners. Joy could not bear it. Therefore, of course, I sent some in his 2023 in Hike. However, I sent one of the small packages and she gave me the complete can.
At night, the shelters of the shelter even roasted some mockery and made Mac and Cheese a kind of magic of trails for their guests … so well! I already had dinner, but well, what is a little more food? And then I still had to have my ice cream painting too haha.
My hunger for hike is all the time at this time. Waiting for this to be enough to take me to the entrance of the Baxter State Park, where there is a camp store.

Only only the most nutritional articles for me.
That night I felt ready to go. I had gone through my refueling, I had my plan, and now I just had to walk 😄
In the future, it is very possible that there is a considerable gap between the next publications that are built on the site. It seems that the next part of the trip could be more remote and I am not sure when I will reach it. So don’t fear. Stevie and Sumi walk. Happy paths. All of you.
