Barcelona recovered Marc-Andre Ter Stegen as the leader of the first team after he announced on Friday that the goalkeeper authorized the club to send his medical report to La Liga.
The announcement came after Ter Stegen returned to suggestions he is to blame for Barcelona’s inability to register new players, insisting that the club has fully approved its back operation and recovery time line.
Three months’ rehabilitation of the German created an unexpected headache for Barcelona, who had asked him to sign a medical leave in the long term with which they can free up 80 percent of his wages until the middle of the season and meet the rules for financial fair, allowing them to register new players.
But the announcement of Ter Stegen on social media that he would be kept offside for just three months, because La Liga rules require a player that a player is not dismissed for at least four months to be considered an injury in the long term.
The disagreement led to the 33-year-old on Thursday stripped of the captain of the club.
«The club announces that the player Marc-Andre ter Stegen has signed the authorization that the club needs to send La Liga the medical report on his operation,» Barcelona said in a statement.
«The disciplinary case is closed and the player is again the leader of the first team with immediate effect.»

Ter Stegen it was determined that club officials had always remained informed about his treatment and rehabilitation.
«The decision to undergo surgery was taken after consultation with medical professionals and fully approved by the club,» Ter Stegen said earlier on Friday in a statement on Instagram.
«Moreover, I publicly announced the minimal recovery timing that I need afterwards, which was communicated to me by the most renowned experts and always in coordination with the club.»
Despite the fact that the authorization is signed for alley, the La Liga medical committee still has to rule over his case, with their estimated recovery time for the goalkeeper who determines whether Barcelona can use part of his salary to register new signing sessions.
