Leaving a walk, living namely and working as a chef with Juliette «Scorpion Queen» Kerven (BPR #318)

In today’s episode of Backpacker Radio, presented by The Trek, brought to you by Topo Athletic, Juliette Kerven joined us, known on the path as Scorpion Queen. Juliette is a chef trained with Michelin, former member of the Yates crew, full-time nomad and a hiker of both the PCT and AT, and we caught her during her attempt at CDT Thru-tik for this conversation.

This is a solo interview directed by Chaunce, and ventures into an emotional field unknown to this podcast as Scorpion Queen fights openly with whether or not to continue its walk, and finally makes a decision during the interview.

We also talk about how to walk in the United States as an international hiker (Juliette is from England), we listen about his experience working in yachts and learn how his culinary skills at Michelin level translate into the countryside. All that and much more.

We wrap the show with the most common lesions on hikers, small things that improve our days, the triple crown of the gingers (fictitious characters edition) and the definitive guide of the most whores sources.
