After a week of surfing, lying and absorbing the sun of the east coast in the high season, we were ready to move and also get away from some quite tourist cities. We had talked about making some walks while I was on our planned trip, so, naturally, I found a 300 km long walk that we could do …
The Pekoe Trail is a long -distance hiking trail of 300 km in Sri Lanka, named for high -grade black tea produced in the region. The path is inspired by the tea industry and the road network used to transport tea leaves in the past. It is a new path that was only officially launched in March 2023! Is it rumored that only around 50 hikers have walked from extreme to extreme?

Pretty things: Some children gave us flowers, they were surrounded by puppies, clear quartz glass on the road! 
Eat
Encuentros de animales: caracoles, pájaros, mariposas, serpientes, lagartos, perros, la mayoría son inofensivos, pero pueden gruñir un poco si camina cerca de su casa, sanguijuelas, no es demasiado dramática hoy, puede ser desplegada, pero recomendaría calcetines de sanguijuelas de la gran tienda de senderismo en Kandy o Ella (en realidad no los ha hecho, por lo que no se acerque a la altura de la moda).
