Sreyas VG scored in extra time to find the winner for the Indian Marine FT, which defeated the local side Trau FC 2-1 in the last group-F competition of Durand Cup 2025 in the Khuman Lampak Main Stadium in Imphal on Tuesday.
The result helped the Indian Marine bag seven points from three games and claims the first place in the group’s final classification, so that a quarter -final berth was obtained.
Looking for his first points of the tournament, Trau found the break early in the 29th minute through Moirangthem Nelson Singh and kept the lead until the 87th minute when Pintu Mahata raised the equalizer to bring the Navy back into the game. Sreyas found the winner in the added time (90+3 minutes) to get the sailors to Real Kashmir FC, who ended his campaign with six points.

Bodoland FC insured the remaining knockout berth with a self-assured 4-0 win over the Indo-Tibetan border Police Football Team (ITBP) in the final Group-D competition at the Sai Stadium in Kokrajhar.
Bodoland achieved full nine points of three consecutive victories to become the best in the group.
The two qualifications were accompanied by the other four group winner-emami East Bengal, Mohun Bagan Super Giant, Jamshedpur FC, Northast United FC-EN The two best second placed teams-shillong FC FC (six points, +7 target difference) and Diamond Harboralist FC.
The quarter -final opponents will be completed by the Durand committee and announced at a later date.
