The Premier League season 2025/26 starts on Friday evening when Liverpool takes on Bournemouth.
With the arrival of the new season, millions of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers will look for goalkeeper options for their teams.
Here are five interesting options to consider in the position of the goalkeeper for the coming season:
Dean Henderson (Crystal Palace)
Dean Henderson got the headlines in front of his heroic deeds in the FA Cup and Community Shield Finals, but the shape of the English goalkeeper in the 2024/25 season was quietly impressive. Henderson took the fourth points of every goalkeeper last season and held 11 clean sheets during the season. The Eagles have signed Walter Benitez to give Henderson some competition and to have a difficult start to the season, so that only 5.8% of managers select him. However, if it can be due to his first pair of luminaires, Henderson could turn out to be a useful differential choice at £ 5.0 million.
Martin Dubravka (Burnley)
Last season Burnley earned promotion from the remarkable style championship and concentrated his team around a Rock-Solid defense that took only 16 goals in 46 games in the entire season. The goalkeeper James Trafford left for Manchester City, but it has succeeded in holding most of his defensive staff. Martin Dubravka arrived in this summer, is not an immediate guaranteed starter for the Clarets, he is armed with a wealth of Premier League experience, he could be a useful gamble for a second keeper at just £ 4.0 million.
Robert Sanchez (Chelsea)
Chelsea arrives the 2025/26 season with a renewed sense of optimism, and it seems that Robert Sanchez will get another season in the net for the blues for a more fixed defense. Although there is a feeling that Sanchez is susceptible to the incidental error, Chelsea ended the 2024/25 season with the second more professional goals. Sanchez has priced £ 5.0 million and has a favorable series of luminaires to start the season, so that it could make an attractive choice about some of the more expensive available options.
Kreeers Kelleheer (Betstford)
Caoimhin Kelleher has made the decision to leave Anfield and move to Brentford, took over from Mark Flekken, who left for Bayer Leverkusen. Flekken made the most saves in the Premier League last season, and although it has been a summer of turnover for the bees, the defensive staff remains relatively unchanged and is expected to be expected to continue his playing style. Kelleher can expect him to be confronted with a large number of shots and £ 4.5 million, he can represent a good value.
Djordje Petrovic (Bournemouth)
Bournemouth placed a number of impressive versions in the 2024/25 season and gave the sixth-emeriored goals throughout the campaign. It has been a summer of turnover for the side of Andoni Iraola, with Ilya Zabarni, Milos Kerkez, Dean Huijsen and Kepa Arrizabalaga who all leave the club. One former goalkeeper of Chelsea will be replaced by another, while Djordje Petrovic comes to the club behind an impressive season in Ligue 1, where he won the Player of the Year Prize from Strasbourg. Bournemouth has a difficult start, but for £ 4.5 million he could prove to be an interesting option.
