I ended up taking four full days in Ashland. They cleaned me, including a haircut and beard, refueled and did a job in the insensitive at the bottom of my left foot. Today I am back on the path, and apart from the general rarity of returning to the path after a free time, I feel pretty good.
I really do not have a goal today, especially because it is my first day back on the road, and my backpack is full of enough food to take the hundred miles to Lake Crater. I know that Oregon miles are supposed to be easier, but today I am a bit slow in general. I am sure I will return in the bad condition for tomorrow.
Today I have seen a single hiker so far, and given my late beginning outside the city, I am not sure if I will see it many others, but I am sure that I will see many in the next few days as I mentioned before, I am excited to see the entire new multitude of people with whom I will come out as a movement in Oregon. I hoped to run back with Spout and Yeti, but I think they could have shot me while I was in Ashland. There are some other hikers that I have not seen from the desert with which I hope to find myself too, but above all, I hope to meet some breaches and see what they are doing.
