Manchester United has a group of players who want to leave, but the club will not wait until their departure brings in their replacements, said coach Ruben Amorim Friday.
United said in July that five players wanted to leave the club, including Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Tyrell Malacia and Jadon Sancho. While Rashford has joined Barcelona, the others still have to leave.
Amorim left all four players from the team when United started his Premier League campaign with a 1-0 house loss for Arsenal last weekend.
«I know it is not good to have players in this situation, but it is clear that they want to play in another club,» Amorim told reporters to Fulham prior to Sunday’s visit.

«It is no idea that these players will leave, and then we will receive another player. We do not know what will happen, but we are not waiting to eliminate someone to take another player with us. One is not responsible for the other.»
United has already spent around 200 million pounds on transfers this summer, which strengthened their attack with the arrival of Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.
Amorim said that United was doing well against Arsenal despite the scary loss and the consistency against Fulham, who pulled in Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend.
«They have a clear identity, Marco Silva is really experienced, really smart. He can change different things, treat different spaces, and you can see Game by Game, he tried to do that,» said Amorim.
«They are comfortable because they have experience, they understand the competition … It will be a heavy match.»
A hamstring injury had put United’s first-choice goalkeeper Andre Onana against Arsenal offside, and a mistake by replacement keeper Altay Bayindir led the visitors to score an early winner.
«Onana is ready to play like last week … so we will see who the goalkeeper will be,» said Amorim, adding that every player was other than Lisandro Martinez and Noussair Mazraoui Fit.
