Juventus opened his Serie A 2025-26 campaign with a 2-0 home victory on Parma on Sunday, sealed by the opener of debutant Jonathan David and a late tap-in from Dusan Vlahovic.
There were few chances for both sides in the first half, and Juve’s Francisco Conukicao went closest to a duikkop that forced Parma goalkeeper Zion Suzuki in a full-stretch Save to keep it out.
Parma came out sharper after the break and hit almost within a few minutes. Mateo Pellegrino only broke through to be refused by an excellent last ditch from Gleison Bremer that held Juve level.
The fear seemed to shock the host in life and he quickly stacked on the pressure.
Kenan Yildiz and Conukicao were repeatedly found space on the wings, creating various opportunities for Juve early in the second half, with Concukicao rattling the bar with a bent strike.

In the 59th minute, Yildiz erupted the flank and struck in a Pinpoint Pass to David, who stole a step on his marker and finished cool with the outside of his boot to make Juve ahead.
Yildiz could have doubled Juve’s lead minutes before the end, but his half volley was kept out by Suzuki, who reacted sharply to palm it away from the bottom corner.
Andrea Cambiaso was sent away after a struggle with Mathias Fjortoft Lovik in the 83rd minute that ended with the Italian seemingly striking Parma’s Norwegian defender.
A minute later, Juve benefited with a fast counter when Yildiz rode the box and square for replacement Vlahovic, who tapped to close the game.
Atalanta, under new coach Ivan Juric, opened with a 1-1 home stretch against promoted Pisa, because Isak Hien’s first half gave the visitor’s own goal, but the leadership was canceled five minutes after the restart by Gianluca Scamacca.
