Cole Palmer is excluded this weekend from the West -Londe Derby of Chelsea to Fulham in the Premier League with a lies injury, while the club is approaching when signing Alejandro Garnacho, manager Enzo Maresca said Friday.
Palmer ran for a muscle injury last week prior to the kick-off of the 5-1 demolition of West Ham United and the attacker of Thomas Tuchel of last week.
Maresca said that Romeo Lavia and Benoit Badiashile also stand offside with injuries.
«Cole, we have to see every day. Romeo and Benoit, I don’t think they will be back after the international break, but they will be closer,» Maresca said reporters prior to Saturday’s early kick -off.

«I spoke with Thomas a few times, it is Thomas’ decision (not to choose Palmer). He is not available tomorrow, so it is quite normal for him to have shown that he has some problems.»
Although Chelsea had no problems without his wounded Talisman in the West Ham match, Marco Silva Fulham was a bigger problem and Maresca said they had to find a way to cope with him.
«If Cole is not in the game, we have to find different solutions. Hopefully we can do the same tomorrow,» said Maresca. «(Fulham being) Solid, well organized, they play nice football and it is not random that they are doing well. Marco is good, the players are good. We have to be careful, as always.»

Chelsea tries to sign Garnacho after Ruben Amorim from the Manchester United team was frozen by Ruben Amorim, with a fee of 40 million pounds (USD 54.04 million) agreed.
«I know he’s around here. I don’t know exactly where he is,» said Maresca. «He is a player who is pretty clear that his position is a winger and I see him as a winger.»
Garnacho’s arrival will cost the total expenditure of Chelsea in the close season to more than 280 million pounds, but Maresca has no longer excluded things before the transfer window closes on Monday.
«You can expect everything, the transfer window is open. Everything can happen – in and out,» he said. «I came to the club a year ago and said that I was in love with the team and the team gets better and better.»
