Var Official Salisbury replaced for Liverpool-Arsenal-Game After PGMOL recognizes errors in Chelsea-Fulham Game


Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) acknowledged Sunday that the video assistant referee (VAR) had made a mistake when excluding Fulham’s goal in his 0-2 defeat against Chelsea on Saturday.

In the first half, Fulham’s Joshua King scored to lead the visitor. However, his strike was excluded by VAR due to an error by Rodrigo Muniz in the structure. Muniz had stepped on the foot of Trevoh Chalobah.

Fulham -Baas Marco Silva was destructive of officializing, while he also criticized the decision not to allow the goal.

«How you do not allow such a goal is incredible. Incredible,» Silva said TNT -SPORT.

As a result of the error, the VAR officer Michael Salisbury was replaced by John Brooks for Sunday’s collision between Liverpool and Arsenal.
