AC Milan signs midfielder Adrien Rabiot from Olympique de Marseille

AC Milan signed the French midfielder Adrien Rabiot of Olympique de Marseille, said the Serie A Club on Monday, two weeks after the player was put on the transfer list after a dressing room changes with a teammate.

Italian media reported that the 30-year-old has written a three-year-old deal with Milan, which has paid a reported 10 million euros ($ 11.71 million) for the 30-year-old.

Rabiot was offered for sale by the French club together with the English winger Jonathan Rowe because of «unacceptable behavior» after the loss of Marseille Ligue 1 at Stade Rennais.

Rowe has since become a member of the Serie A side Bologna.

The couple can be from opposing parties when they make their debut for their new clubs, because Milan Bologna is organizing the next Serie A match after the international break on 14 September.

In Milan, Rabiot is reunited with Massimiliano Allegri, for whom he played three seasons in Juventus before he came to Marseille last year, with the club finished second in Ligue 1 behind Paris St. Germain, where Rabiot started his career.

Rabiot, who is located in the France team of Didier Deschamps for the qualifications of next week’s World Cup, has made 53 performances for the national side. His last goals for France came with a double against Italy in a 3-1 win in the San Siro in November.
