Transfer Deadline Day: Important signing sessions in Bundesliga Transfer window


The European summer transfer window came off on 1 September at 7 p.m. BST (11.30 p.m.).

The window has seen many Bundesliga sides that want to renew their squadrons prior to the incoming 2025-26 Bundesliga season. Defending champion Bayern Munich has tried to regenerate his team, while the chase package has annoyed.

With most major parties that make large transfers, here are five of the top transfers in the Bundesliga prior to the 2025-26 season:

Jarrel Quansah – Liverpool to Bayer Leverkusen

It has been a summer of change for Bayer Leverkusen, with a large number of stars that leave the club. The defense has changed, where Jonathan Tah moved to the local rival Bayern Munich and Piero Hincapie has become a member of Arsenal. Arriving in place is the young English center-back Jarell Quansah for around 35 million euros. Fresh from winning the Premier League with Liverpool, he will be looking for consistent minutes when Leverkusen seems to rebuild. Quansah started well and scored minutes in his Bundesliga debut, although Leverkusen is immersed in a state of uncertainty after the early looting of manager Erik ten Hag.

Jonathan Burkardt – Mainz to Eintracht Frankfurt

Jonathan Burkardt had a stunning season for Mainz in the 2024-25 season and scored 18 goals when the sixth ended to qualify for the UEFA Conference League. With Hugo Ekitike departure Eintracht Frankfurt for Liverpool Hot at the heels of Omar Marmoush who leaves for Manchester City in January, Eintracht has looked to Burkardt to fill the gorge that leads the line in front of the side this season and a fee for him in the vicinity of 21 million euros for him.

Luis Diaz – Liverpool to Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich refreshed the front line this summer, with Thomas Muller, Kingsley Coman and Mathys Tel among those to leave. The name of the tent is Colombian winger Luis Diaz, who joins Liverpool for around 70 million euros. Diaz, who scored 13 goals in the Premier League last season, will connect to Harry Kane and Michael Olise, who driven Bayern’s title costs last season. The early signs are promising, where Diaz scored twice in his first two Bundesliga matches.

Nicolas Jackson – Chelsea to Bayern Munich

The potential relocation from Nicolas Jackson to Bayern Munich was a saga that dominated the last days of the transfer window. The Senegalese striker, however, managed to complete his move to Bavaria, to join a first loan agreement with an obligation to make it permanent transfer at the end of the season, and will now fight for a place in Bayern’s new look frontline. Although he may be forced to compete with Harry Kane for a place as a center-forward, there is still a considerable potential for the ex-Chelsea striker to succeed in the Bundesliga

Jobe Bellingham – Sunderland to Borussia Dortmund

One Bellingham follows the other in wearing the iconic yellow and black by Borussia Dortmund this season. The newest young talent to make a switch to Dortmund is Jewe Bellingham, younger brother of his former star Jude, for 30.50 million euros. Bellingham joins us from Sunderland and played an important role in promoting the championship to the Premier League. A midfielder of Handel, the 19-year-old hopes to continue his development with his new side, although he has already confronted a few teething problems.
