Returning to the road

For those who have followed my blog, remember that I am trying to complete the miles in which I could not end last year due to the strong damage to the Hurricane Helene. In spring, I walked from Springer Mtn to Allen Gap, just after the hot springs. Tomorrow, I lead to the south with a plan to walk north from Allen Gap to Damascus. This time, my wife Michele and Dog Luna accompany me. Michele will support me with transportation walks that will allow me to have several days of the slack package. Luna will walk with me most days. I am looking forward to the highlands of Roan, a favorite region of many on hikers. If the weather cooperates and I feel good, I hope to finish in Damascus around September 20. I will provide a couple of updates along the way.
