Cristiano Ronaldo, Joao Felix under the goals such as Portugal Dunk Armenia

Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Joao Felix both struck twice while the visitors set aside 5-0 on Saturday, giving Roberto Martinez’s side a perfect start in the qualifications of the World Cup.

The Nations League champions had little trouble neutralizing the limited attacking threat of Armenia and, after the fourth goal, played important players and used the momentum to show a more creative style, a perfect start in group F.

It took 10 minutes for Portugal to continue when Joao Canneo reached the name rule and lifted a precise cross on Felix’s head, which had little trouble breaking the impasse.

Ronaldo doubled the lead after 21 minutes and underlined the dominance of Portugal while collapsing past his marker to meet a cross up close for his 139th international goal.

The route continued when Annalo added a third for Portugal and finished after 32 minutes of Felix’s Cut-Back.

A minute after the restart, Ronaldo produced a moment of glare and unleashed a thunderous volley from a distance that shot in the net, with Armenia goalkeeper Henri Avagyan who manages the weakest touches but powerless to stop.

With the fourth goal that confirmed the dominance of Portugal, the visitors began to play with greater freedom because it was looking for inventive ways to accelerate further opportunities.

Just beyond the hour, Felix Fortune combined with finesse while he ran in the box to meet a rebound of a blocked shot that seemed to slip past him, only for the attacker to put the ball with a smart heel to give Portugal a fifth.

The visitors insisted on a sixth late, but Avagyan produced two nice saves before the referee blew full -time, almost the immediate stop time started, so that the routes were terminated.
