East Bengal started his Calcutta Football League (CFL) Super Six stage by beating the United Kolkata Football Club 3-0 on Thursday in the East Bengal Ground in Kolkata.
The red and gold brigade took the lead in the stopping time of the first half through the strike of Naseb Rahman and went during the break with an advantage of one goal.
PV Vishnu and Vanlalpeka Guite have delivered the other two goals for East Bengal and achieved a comfortable victory for the side.
In the other Super Six match of the day, Durand Cup 2025 defeated finalist Daimond Harbor FC Suruchi Sangha with 4-0.
Previously, East Bengal qualified the super Six by ending the group phase as a group A-Table with 23 points, with seven victories in 11 games.
