New Bayern Munich who signed Nicolas Jackson, said on Friday that he was happy to be «where I wanted» after he arrived at the German giants of Premier League Club Chelsea on a seasonal loan.
During his official unveiling in Munich on Friday, the 24-year-old spoke about the «difficult times and difficult moments» because his loan agreement seemed to fall by days before the transfer window was concluded.
“In football there can be a time when you want a change. I spoke with (sports director) Max Eberl and the coach and they really wanted me to be here and they loved me.
«And as a player you want to be there where people want you to be.»

In Chelsea since 2023, Jackson dropped out in the pecking order after the summer arrivals of Joao Pedro and Liam Delap.
The Senegal striker had arrived in the run-up to Deadline Day in Munich to sign a seasonal loan just to be recalled by Chelsea after an injury to Delap.
Through his agent, Jackson said that he would not return to London to penetrate a move to Bayern.
After they initially said that they would honor Chelsea’s request, the German club announced the signing hours of Jackson after the transfer Deadline was concluded after he concluded an agreement with the winners of the Club World Cup.
«There were difficult times and difficult moments, but I was confident that I would stay here because I want to play and want to be here,» Jackson said.
Bayern reportedly agreed with a reimbursement of 16.5 million euros ($ 19 million), the highest loan costs in its history, together with an obligation to buy for 65 million euros.
After the window was closed, Bayern Powerbroker Uli Hoonenheid Reporters said that the underlying conditions to activate the purchase obligation was deliberately made too difficult to satisfy.
«We only have to pay it if he starts 40 games this season. He will never do that,» said Hoetiness on Tuesday.
Jackson called Hooness «A Legend of the Club» but said that tried to activate the obligation was «not my decision, not my focus. My task is just to play on the field and score as many goals as I can and help the team win.»
The former Villarreal Forward stands in line to make his debut for the club on Saturday when Bayern Hamburg hosts.
