A coalition of interest groups and fang groups called on European football federations to boycott Israel in a Times Square Billboard that went live on Tuesday, #Gameoverisrael Campaign months before the FIFA World Cup 2026.

The Billboard went up on Tuesday in New York, which will organize eight competitions in the World Cup next year, including the final. Canada and Mexico organize co-host of the four-year international competition with the United States.

The campaign is calling for football federations in Belgium, England, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Scotland and Spain to Boycott the Israeli national team and to ban Israeli players from domestic matches, referring to the constant attacks in Gaza.
