Real Madrid defender Trent Alexander-Arnold is expected to be sidelined for a few weeks due to a hamstring injury in the 2-1 victory of Madrid over Marseille in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Alexander-Arnold had to be replaced for five minutes in the game in the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. Madrid said that the tests were performed on Wednesday, showed that the International of England has a «muscle injury on the biceps femoris in his left leg.»
Madrid said, «Further updates will follow.» It did not give a timetable for his recovery.

Alexander-Arnold only ran on when he stopped and put his hand on the back of his left leg. He fell to the ground to wait for medical help and was eventually replaced by Dani Carvajal.
Carvajal was later sent for the headbutting of an opponent and will miss the next game in the competition phase of the Champions League – in Kairat in two weeks.
Alexander-Arnold came to Madrid from Liverpool this summer and debuted with the Spanish club during the club World Cup.
He helped Liverpool win a Champions League title and two Premier League titles.
