Ange Postecoglou suffered his second consecutive defeat since the takeover as Nottingham Forest Manager was taken over, because his side entered the stop time twice in the stopping time to lose 3-2 at the second Tier Swansea City in the third round of the Carabao Cup, despite the leading of 2-0 on Wednesday.
The Australian, who replaced Nuno Espirito Santo at the city this month, looked stunned when Cameron Burgess shot home in the 97th minute to send home fans wild.
Forest had checked the opening half with Igor Jesus who scored twice – his first in the 14th minute when he shot on the distant pole after a ball recovered on his path and the second just before the break after a flowing movement.
There was no hint of the drama to get most of the second half on a rainy evening in Zuid -Wales, but Swansea was given a life line with just over 20 minutes when Burgess found space to go in from a corner.

The Slovenian replacement Zan Vipotnik was then leveled in the third minute of the stopping time and Forest could not even reach a penalty shoot-out, while Burgess struck after Ethan Galbraith’s piledriver returned from the crossbar.
The side of Postecoglou has now admitted six goals in his two games after his forest rule started with a 3-0 defeat in Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday.
If Forest’s Arnaud Kalimuendo’s efforts did not turn out, was ruled shortly before the first goal of Swansea, the visitor would have sailed in the hat for the fourth round.
Postecoglou said they paid the price to think the draw was over.
«I just thought it was a game that we really should have killed long before it came on stage that it did,» said the former manager Tottenham Hotspur. “I got the feeling that we were a bit comfortable and thought that the game would end easily.
«But that’s not what happens, especially in cup football.» I was just frustrated that we did not realize that the danger that could have developed by not being more clinical. «
