Barcelona plays his long-awaited Champions League group phase match against holders Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the 55,926 capacity Lluis Company Olympic Stadium in Montjuic on 1 October, the Spanish club announced Friday.
Creating in his iconic camp of 100,000 seats, Barca started his Home La Liga campaign against Valencia for only 6,000 fans in the Estadi Johan Cruyff, on Sunday in the Sant Joan Despi Training Complex.
Camp Nou’s full renovation in nine months behind schedule, and a post Malone concert had left the Lluis Companys -throw in poor condition.

«The club continues to work intensively to obtain the necessary administrative permits for the opening of the Spotify Camp Nou in the coming months,» Barca said in a statement.
«FC Barcelona wants to thank its members and fans for their understanding and support during such a complex and exciting process as the return to the new Spotify Camp Nou.»
Barca played in the seasons of 2023-24 and 2024-25 at the Lluis guidance, while renovations in Camp Nou were underway.
UEFA regulations State Clubs must in principle play all Champions League matches in the same stadium from the competition phase.
Barca defeated Newcastle United 2-1 away in their Champions League opener on Thursday, while PSG Atalanta crushed 4-0 in the Parc des Princes on Wednesday.
