Water
Walking along the edge is beautiful, but there is almost no water. An angel of paths has maintained a path to Lost Creek that has a lot of water. But after that, it’s long before you find more natural water.
Knowing that I left the camp ahead of Worm and the other hikers who stayed there last night, I left my bear bag on the edge and made the walk/return to Lost Creek. Using my GPS, I estimated that it was 1/3 of mile in each direction, with 400 feet of elevation change. I filled my 8 -liter capacity, hoping to quickly give it from the camp when I met them.
It was not anxious therefore weight, but the General Council is not trusting the water caches. At least there should be no more big climb.
Sapilla and lunch
I did not meet others from my camp and, finally, the heat, weight and rock of the path they worn me. I found some shadow under a large juniper and legs supported by my backpack. He felt good to take a short nap to the side of the path. It smells well under the juniper.
After that, I ate my lunch and tried a little camel, drinking some of that extra water before leaving it.
Feel better … for a while
I felt much better most of the afternoon. But the amount of rocks on the path still used me, just like the weight of the water. It turns out that the transport of water was 21 miles, no 19, if I did not want to trust the water cache and was not desperate enough to obtain water from a pair of stagnant ponds. My feet, ankles, knees and hips were tired at the end of the day.

Camp for a cache
I ended up camping near a water cache, so I didn’t have to ration water at night.
My body was exhausted and I felt so good to finish my homework and go to sleep.
