Christian Pulisic marked his return to the AC Milan who was on the line-up with two goals and an assist in a 3-0 win at Udinese on Saturday that raised the visitors in third place in the Serie A 2025-26 classification.
Milan went on to nine points, the same as Napoli, who has a match in hand, and one behind the early season leader Juventus, as it won for a third consecutive game.
Pulisic had been on the couch for the last two games of Milan, but had restored until the start 11, a big impact and broke the impasse in the 40th minute when the cross of Pervis Estupinan was deflected from the left to his own goal by Thomas Kristensen van Udinese.
While goalkeeper Razvan Sava instinctively stopped the ball that crossed the line, it perfectly returned to the Pulisic path for an easy road.
