Fight a brown bear and leave the Mormon church with Wesley «Megaman» Tils (BPR #324)

In today’s episode of Backpacker Radio presented by The Trek brought to you by Topo Athletic, we are joined by Wesley Tils, known on the road as Megaman. Open because Oh boy, Megaman has a history of origin. After growing in the Mormon Church, leaving the Church to become a professional boxer, leaving the boxing to give the church another chance and go to a missionary trip as its trial of faith, and finally leave the church for good during this missionary trip, escaping the PCT with several church members essentially pursues it in persecution, the path of Megaman through those who was not exactly conventional.

Since he arrived at the paths, Megaman has not stopped walking, accumulating more than 15,000 miles on 18 long paths in 9 years. We learn about all its adventures, including the walks of the Maah Daah Hey Trail, River to River Trail, its path from Mexico to Canada made itself called “The fourth route of the crown and an inducting story of chicken skin on an aggressive encounter with a brown bear in the CDT.
