Great climb on the friendly path
The path has been very friendly this morning. It has risen a couple of thousands of feet in the first 8 miles, but that is only 5%. And it has generally been soft, shaded and not too hot. Panado my feet to help the hot points. Combined with the soft path, my feet have done well.

Find the application
I discovered that the SEEK application is interactive! He was so accustomed to plant identification applications that he required to upload a photo. Given how rarely I have connectivity, I never bothered to try. But it seems that Seek has its AI models loaded in the application, so it does not require connectivity. So I can really use it to identify things along the way. This could be fun!
Moosehead Creek Camping
I camped near Moosehead Creek. Good place of flat tent, a couple of flat rocks for the kitchen, and the stream was close. I was/soaked my feet on the stream before bedtime. That water was cold! But it is good not to have all the dust on my feet and legs. And the cold seems to help the hot points.
I tried to make a rod syrup. I used my bottle and cold soaking lid to collect thorny currants. It was fine, but a little bit and there was not much of that. He was also suspicious of the spiny currants.
