Premier League: Man United’s Diallo, Mazraoui to Miss Brentford Trip, says Amorim

The ivory coast of Manchester United Amad Diallo will miss the visit to Brentford in the Premier League this weekend because of the death of a family member, said Ruben Amorim on Friday, and added that defender Noussair Mazraoui is also out.

«Amad is not here. Someone in his family died, so we give all the support to Amad,» Amorim told reporters prior to Saturday’s game.

Media reports also said that Diallo, who was involved this season in all six games of United, removed all photos from his Instagram profile after receiving a wave of reactions that criticized his performance in Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Visitor Chelsea.

«I always tell my players, conclude social media,» Amorim added. “Nowadays it is a price that you have to pay, but the most important thing is that the club and the friends, the real life for Amad, we are here for him.

«It is a difficult moment for him and at the moment the next game is not important. We can win this game without Amad and we want to win it for him.»

Amorim said that Mazraoui will not be available before the international break, which starts on October 6, after British media reported that the international of Morocco had missed the training due to an injury.

Defensive midfielder Casemiro is suspended for Saturday’s game after he was sent to Chelsea.

United, which has seven points from five games, wants to win back-to-back competition matches for the first time this season when it plays Brentford.

«We really have to be focused on this kind of games and have that feeling that we have to win every game,» Amorim added.
