Qatar to host the final phase of the Intercontinental Cup for the second year in a row

In December, Qatar will organize the remaining three games of the Intercontinental Cup in December for the second year in a row, said the FIFA of the World Report of Voetbal on Sunday.

The Middle Eastern Nation also organized the final phase when Real Madrid won the tournament last year.

UEFA Champions League winner Paris St Germain has already been directly qualified for the final for December 17, a week after Concacaf Champions Cup winner Cruz Azul is confronted with the Conkebol Copa Libertadores champions to reach a play -off.

Egyptian side pyramids has already made the play-off, a de facto semi-final, by beating Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday. The Playoff winner will be confronted with PSG in the final.

The annual tournament, held for the first time in 2024, contains the club champions of the six FIFA confederations.
