Jamshedpur FC expands the contract of Defender Sarthak Golui

Jamshedpur FC has expanded the contract of defender Sarthak Golui for the 2025-26 season season. He had presented the Men or Steel in the Durand Cup earlier this season.

The 27-year-old defender from Kolkata, able to play both a center-back and right back, is a product of the Aiff Elite Academy. Golui previously represented Mohun Bagan, Pune City, Mumbai City FC, East Bengal and Chennaiyin FC before he appeared in the i-League for Inter Kashi last season.

Golui scored the first goal of the season for Jamshedpur in the Durand Cup opener. He then went up in every match of the campaign, impressed his defensive firmness and willingness to support attacks, allowing JFC to reach the quarterfinals.

«I am very happy to extend my stay and continue my journey with Jamshedpur FC. I look forward to making many special memories with the club, both on and off the field,» said Sarthak Golui after signing the extension.

Head coach Steven Dias praised the dedication of the defender: «I was very impressed by the way Sarthak performed in the Durand Cup. He gave everything for the team and to add him to us, adds real strength and character to our defense.»
