FIFA has given the Serbian FA 80,000 Swiss Frank ($ 100,590) a fine and ordered a reduced capacity for his next home cup qualification as a result of discriminatory behavior by fans during their 5-0 loss for England in Belgrade earlier this month.
The FIFA disciplinary committee also quoted the use of lasers, inappropriate gestures and the obstruction of the national anthem when handing out the sanction.
At least 20% of the seats for the Serbia match against Albania in Leskovac will be closed.
«The Football Association of Serbia will meet the issued decision and take all measures to prevent the repetition of similar incidents in the future,» said the Serbian FA on Tuesday.
Serbia had already been examined on 9 September for the English competition, which organized it with 15% reduced capacity, due to the behavior of its fans during a match against Andorra in June.
